In addition, a couple of features that were removed in the Japanese version of the game are restored in this translation, namely the world map animations and the last attempted time when playing the Time Attack mode. A few screens in the game that contain compressed graphics, however, were left unaltered, but these are few and far between, and should not hinder the experience of the game. However, on occasion, some level names are translated literally.īesides editing text, certain other screens were modified and translated into Spanish, most notably the title screen.
Level names have their own unique translations, preserving alliteration whenever possible, as opposed to translating the names literally. Neither the GB version nor the GBC version received an official Spanish release, so the Spanish translation is all new!
